- Junk Cars - Title required for vehicles 10 years and newer, older than 10 years, title not required (but you do have to be the registered owner). All vehicles must be free of all liens. All fluids have to be drained. Gas tank and battery must be removed. You can still bring in the gas tank (as long as it is steel) and battery for recycling.
